17 SELF-REGULATORY ORGANIZATION (SRO)
Саморегулирующая организация
Орган, учрежденный в Великобритании на основе Закона о финансовых услугах 1986 г. для регулирования деятельности компаний на рынке финансовых инструментов и инвестиций. В стране было создано пять таких организаций: 1. TSA, The Securities Association. Ассоциация ценных бумаг. Организация регулировала деятельность компаний, занимающихся куплей-продажей корпоративных и государственных ценных бумаг. Эти компании являлись членами фондовой биржи и Международной организации по регулированию рынков ценных бумаг. 2. IMRO, Investment Management Regulatory Organization. Организация по регулированию управления инвестициями. Орган контроля за деятельностью компаний, занимающихся управлением коллективными инвестиционными программами и пенсионными фондами. 3. AFBD, The Association of Futures Brokers and Dealers. Ассоциация брокеров и дилеров на рынке фьючерских сделок. Ассоциация регулировала деятельность компаний, работающих с фьючерскими опционами. 4. LAUTRO, Life Assurance and Unit Trust Regulatory Organization. Организация по регулированию деятельности компаний в сфере страхования жизни и паевых фондов. См. Insurance company, Unit trust. 5. FIMBRA, Financial Intermediaries, Managers and Brokers Regulatory Association. Ассоциация по регулированию деятельности финансовых посредников, менеджеров и брокеров. В 1991 г. TSA и AFBD объединились в одну организацию под названием Securities and Futures Authority (SFA) - Управление по ценным бумагам и фьючерским контрактам. В 1994 г. произошло объединение LAUTRO и FIMBRA, в результате чего появилось Управление личных инвестиций (Personal Investment Authority PIA). В 1999 г. SFA, PIA и IMRO влились во вновь созданное Управление финансовых услуг (см.
